I had been seeing your kickass asoiaf fanart for awhile, but I realized just now that I wasn't watching you! of course, I just fixed that ;)

And I descend from grace in arms of undertow;
I will take my place in the great below.

Oh, you're more than welcome. It should be actually me thanking you since there's really not a lot of good ASOIAF artwork around. I actually just took a quick look at your gallery but plan to visit longer later on.
All those armour details are really impressive, do you use some specific references?
:iconserclegane:
You mean, besides the descriptions in the books? No, just my imagination and some very, very vague ideas how a medieval armour should look. It's probably not historical accurate at all, but... oh well :P
:iconmaudt:
Aye, besides the book. I've been trying to do a little research on medieval armour and such but it's hard to decide which century would fit most (not to mention geographical diversion). But that's fantasy after all, as long as it looks good it works. And your work does look good, so keep it up :D
:iconserclegane:
Heh :)

The most "research" I have ever done about it is to google a "knight" or "medieval armour" or something like that and take a look at some of the pictures, just for general ideas.

But mainly I go for my imagination, especially about the details...
For example, last night, while I was trying to fall asleep, I finally figured a way to do the kraken helm of Victarion Greyjoy :P
:iconmaudt:
Hm, I saw a pretty nice kraken helm on some ASOIAF fanart (but I can't recall where).
Any chances of you drawing the Blackfish in the nearest future? ;)
:iconalciha:
Glad to have you updating again, man, because your art is a nice change of pace from everyone always drawing jon and dany.

I totally hear ya, alciha and thanks.

Still, one day I'll have to put Jon and Dany, and all the rest of the popular characters here as well. Not that it bothers me - I've already put Jaime here and he's as popular as they get - but I have found it really nice and even satisfying to draw characters that either no one else draws, or very few people seem to bother with them.
:iconatlas689:
Your one hell of an artist any chance that were going to see Gregor and Sandor colored in with those budding new color skills of yours? Or how about characters like Jaime Lannister, Syrio Forel, Garlan Tyrell, and Arthur Dayne. Bottom line is Ill be just as happy as you keep making asoiaf characters!
